BARRY W. WALKER'S BIOGRAPHY

Mr. Walker, a native of Fairfield, Alabama, has dedicated his legal career to pursuing justice on behalf of individuals who have been victimized by accidents, fraud and medical negligence. His extensive community service record, likewise, reflects his life-long dedication to aiding underprivileged and injured persons of our society.

Prior to commencing his career in private practice in Washington, D.C., Mr. Walker served as law clerk to the Honorable U.W. Clemon, United States District Judge, Northern District of Alabama. Mr. Walker clerked for Judge Clemon during the 1997-98 judicial terms, immediately upon graduating from the Cumberland School of Law, Samford University.

While in law school at Cumberland, Mr. Walker served as vice president of the Student Bar Association and received a leadership scholarship. Also, while at Cumberland, Mr. Walker volunteered extensively in his hometown of Fairfield, Alabama, in addition to the Birmingham Metropolitan area with various youth groups emphasizing the importance of education.

Mr. Walker is a 1992 graduate of Birmingham-Southern College; a 1997 graduate of the Cumberland School of Law, Samford University (Jurist Doctorate); and a 2000 graduate of the National Law Center, George Washington University (Masters of Law in the Laws). Prior to returning home to Birmingham and starting his own firm, Mr. Walker worked for some of the most prestigious trial law firms in Washington, D.C. and the nation, including Reagan, Zambri & Long (www.rhllaw.com), and Jack H. Olender & Associates (www.olender.com).

Mr. Walker is licensed to practice law in Alabama, Washington, D.C., and Maryland. Mr. Walker has active cases in Alabama, California, the District of Columbia, Georgia, & Maryland. Mr. Walker works with attorneys all across the country representing injured persons. In addition, Mr. Walker is a member of numerous professional and civic organizations, including Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, the American Association of Justice, the Alabama Association of Justice, the National Bar Association, the District of Columbia Trial Lawyers Association, the Maryland Trial Lawyers Association, the Cumberland School of Law Alumni Association, and the George Washington Law School Association, among others.
