Barry, a native of Fairfield, Alabama has dedicated his entire legal career to pursuing justice on behalf of people catastrophically injured by accidents, medical negligence, nursing home abuse, and victimized by insurance fraud and bad faith.  Barry’s extensive community service record reflects his life-long dedication to serving people in the greatest need of justice.  Barry formed WALKER LAW in 2002 after deciding to return home to Alabama.

Before starting the practice of law in Washington, D.C.,  Barry served as a law clerk to the Honorable U.W. Clemon, United States District Judge, Northern District of Alabama.  Barry clerked for Judge Clemon during the 1997-98 judicial terms, after graduating law school at the Cumberland School of Law, Samford University.  After his clerkship, Barry pursued an LL.M (Master of Law in the Laws) in litigation and dispute resolution at the National Law Center, George Washington University while working as a full time attorney.

At Cumberland, Barry served as vice president of the Student Bar Association and received a leadership scholarship. Also, while, in law school, Barry volunteered extensively in his hometown of Fairfield, Alabama, in addition to the Birmingham Metropolitan area with various groups emphasizing the importance of education to children. Barry started a foundation that gives grants to enhance educational opportunities for inner city children.  Moreover, Barry serves on the board of Fresh Start Family Solutions, a non-profit dedicated to uplifting young people through cultivating the importance of education, high character, and courage.

Barry is a 1992 graduate of Birmingham-Southern College; a 1997 graduate of the Cumberland School of Law, Samford University (Juris Doctorate); and a 2002 graduate of the National Law Center, George Washington University (Masters of Law in the Laws). 

Prior to returning home to Birmingham and starting his own firm, Barry worked for some of the most prestigious trial law firms in Washington, D.C. and the nation, including Reagan, Zambri & Long (, and Jack H. Olender & Associates (

Barry works with attorneys across the country representing real people seeking truth and justice. 

Barry is also  a member of numerous professional and civic organizations, including Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity (the Boule’), the American Association of Justice, the Alabama Trial Lawyers Association, the National Bar Association, the Cumberland School of Law Alumni Association, and the George Washington Law School Alumni Association, among others.
